Edgar Allan Poe comes to BJ's Roadhouse in search of his lost Lenore.

- In this episode, the character is followed by a series of nightmares, which Beetlejuice experiences that are loosely based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe, who is crying and mourning over his lost Lenore, which is similar to his own poem called "The Raven".
- This episode has a rare instance of the show not pointing out one of its puns: when Beetlejuice "hits the hay" the hay bale sprouts a boxer's arm that hits him back. A haymaker.
