Janitor appears in the hall as Adam Maitland and Barbara Maitland are looking for the room that Juno is in. He appears when Adam and Barbara are looking at the lost souls through one of the doors, the Janitor explains to them that they're souls that have been exorcised and exorcism is like "death for the dead".
